What the program can do now Currently the program can aid in creating low resolution scans – meaning it would be difficult to tell a persons eye color but you would recognize it was them. From scan to full mesh is about 15 minutes (note: the scanning time is just a couple minutes, it’s the post scan process that takes the bulk of the time). Our target goal We want it to be easy to create a standard resolution 3d model within 30 minutes. With standard resolution you can easily tell the persons eye color and also the correct shape of their nose. Current Progress Currently a standard resolution scan takes about 2 hours of editing to produce. The editing involves removing bad data that messes up the alignment process and also removing bad color information where the background image has been included on the foreground. Adapter back in stock soon

The adapter used to connect the XBOX One Kinect V2 to the computer is out of stock at Microsoft and at Amazon. It’s currently expected that the adapter will be back in stock mid June 2015. Well, it’s still not in stock… we won’t be able to fill future orders for the hardware until it’s back in stock. It’s back in stock now...
